This course will dive deep into the dynamics of food, exploring how to use food as medicine, as well as the role of spices and herbs in a culinary context.
The observations and guidance on the principles of Ayurvedic nutrition are tailored to specific and individual needs. These will cover, among other areas, dietary rotation, the use of seasonally fresh ingredients and portion regulation. The program will provide an engaging dietary experience, raising awareness about food energetics and, last but not least, the crucial role of digestion in determining the nutritional value of food.

The learning journey focuses on understanding the role of feelings and taste, provided by inherent qualities (guna and rasa), in nutrition, as well as the spectrum of effects that link taste to what is commonly referred to in Ayurveda as dosha.
Alongside your studies, you will embark on a personal journey of transformation through integrated health coaching, a unique opportunity to experience the power of Ayurveda first-hand while applying its principles to your own life.
- This is a CMA-accredited course, leading to qualification as an Ayurvedic Diet and Lifestyle Consultant.
- Membership with the APA – Ayurvedic Professionals Association in Category F is available if you participate in the Panchakarma retreat.
What is Ayurvedic Diet and Lifestyle and how can it help?
What is the ideal diet for humans? Are we meat eaters or vegetarians? Is there one ideal diet for all?
Ayurveda can answer these questions and give guidance on how to build an individual diet on a general framework of cyclic living. Whether carnivore, omnivore or herbivore, the Ayurvedic principles of nutrition can be applied to any diet.
Whatever the dietary preference, Ayurveda aims at building healthy tissue, increasing vitality and resilience and the priceless self-sufficient knowledge of utilising food as preventative medicine. On the flipside, it also gives insights into understanding what, and equally importantly when, food has the potential of becoming toxic and harmful.

Course Information
Program material, Journaling and 121 Zoom Calls
Once entered the program, the students will go through an initial assessment, which will determine the direction of our personal coaching journey, running alongside the theory. The student will have access to a selection of presentations and videos to learn in theory how Ayurveda works. Combined with their personal practical journey the program will create profound learning experiences to increase confidence in their own practice once graduated.

Until solid daily routine has been established, the students will need to keep a daily journal and schedule a 121 call with Anu on a weekly basis. This is valuable for their own accountability and also to have a record of your achieved results. This way students will never have to feel stuck without no one to turn to. With daily check-ins we make sure everyone is on the right path.
Knowledge is assessed at the end of each module and again at the conclusion of the program. The final written exam may be taken any time after three months have passed since completing the modules.
Students are also required to submit 20 case studies in order to fully qualify from the program and must demonstrate their competence on the final case study in the presence of the teacher.
