1-day workshop with Ayurveda, Yoga and Sound
4 October 26
10-30am - 6.30pm
Price: £85 early birds / £110
During this beautiful day retreat in the heart of Kensal Rise we will explore how Ayurvedic and yogic practices can be integrated into daily life to support balance and restore harmony.
We will start with a gentle yoga practice, lead by the wondrous Francesca who is travelling all the way from Tuscany, Italy to be with us. We will infuse pearls of Ayurvedic wisdom form Anu Paavola, owner of Jivita Ayurveda, we will eat delicious and seasonal Ayurvedic food, practice massage techniques, meditate together and loose ourselves in blissful sound healing allowing you to fully unwind, integrate the day’s teachings and leave feeling calm, clear and deeply nourished.
Ayurveda is an ancient wisdom tradition designed to help us live in harmony with the seasons, our environment and the natural rhythms of life. Rooted in a deep understanding of digestion, nervous system balance, circadian rhythms and holistic wellbeing, Ayurveda offers practical and timeless tools to help us feel more energised, grounded and connected to ourselves.
Yoga and Ayurveda have traditionally been practised side by side, each supporting and enhancing the other. While Ayurveda provides the framework for understanding our unique constitution and the rhythms that govern health, yoga offers the practical tools to embody that wisdom.
Together, they create a powerful system for cultivating physical vitality, emotional resilience, mental clarity and spiritual wellbeing.
Who is this for?
Above all, this retreat is designed for those who value lifelong learning and meaningful conversation. Alongside the practices themselves, there will be space to explore the deeper philosophy behind Ayurveda and yoga, asking not only what we do, but why we do it. Our experienced teachers bring both knowledge and lived experience, creating a supportive environment where questions, discussion and personal reflection are encouraged.
Whether you arrive as a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner, you will leave with practical tools, fresh insights and a deeper appreciation for these life-supporting traditions and the profound impact they can have on everyday wellbeing.
We explore the foundations of natural diet and nutrition for humans and the cycles of life. Learn how can you personally benefit from this deep, sophisticated and common sense wisdom of sustainable and healthy living the way nature intended.
