Ayurvedic health consultations aim at balancing the diet and lifestyle of the client so that they can live a longer life without discomfort from any disease. The client’s condition is carefully examined using an appropriate questionnaire, which systematically guides the practitioner through the questions relevant both physical and mental states of being. At the end the practitioner makes a provisional or final diagnosis and decides on the therapy to be given. In addition to advice on correct diet the clients are usually advised to take herbs, attend therapies and adopt a lifestyle that is in balance with the work and social environment they live in.

Detox Massage and Infrared Sauna Blanket

Panchakarma
The most powerful way and the only way to heal completely is to re-awaken the intelligence of the cells to revitalise and regenerate. Designed specifically for this, panchkarma is a ten-day process during which the bodymind is restored with massages and other condition specific treatments, individually designed diet and lifestyle in addition to herbal remedies. Relaxation and restoration of the digestive tract function are the main focus during this reset program.
Depending on the individual needs a treatment or two will take place on every day for 10 days, with a massage and a purge if deemed necessary. The client is advised to take rest during the course of treatments and avoid any stress and/or overstimulation.

Niruhabasti – Decoction Enema
Ayurvedic enemas are a safe way of treating the colon because they both cleanse and nourish the colon area at the same time. Instead of just flushing the faecal residue and all the bacteria away, it allows the good bacteria stay and flourish in the gut and eliminate what is excess in the area. This treatment is usually administered only after at least one snehabasti, an oily enema, which prepares the area for safe but thorough expulsion of the colon contents.

Snehabasti – Oil Enema
Ayurvedic enemas are famous for their efficiency in treating problems with the nervous system. An introduction of a small quantity of warm herbal oil or ghee in the colon helps to relieve not only constipation but also many other disorders like IBS. Snehabasti can also be administered to prepare for Niruhabasti, an ayurvedic enema with decoction.

For this reason a detox is designed after a thorough consultation in which the client’s body-mind type is determined and a suitable line of detox is agreed upon. The detox might be just a change in dietary habits or it can include different massage therapies, purgation or colonic therapies along with intake of detoxifying herbs.
